How it works

We offer our own auxiliary classes, and the studio is also available for rent by other dance teachers. This is a collection of all the available drop-in classes to help you along your journey to dance. Payment is made to each entity separately.

Pre- Pointe with Broche Ballet ($20)

Whether you're already on pointe, or if you're just starting your journey with ballet, prepare your feet and ankles for pointework. In this class you'll stretch and strengthen your feet to prepare them for pointework. You'll learn techniques to release tightness, stretch safely, and build the necessary strength in your feet for pointe. This class will help you dance en pointe safely and achieve proper placement in your pointe shoes.

Class meets most Sundays 1:30-2:30

Stretch and Conditioning for Ballet with Broche Ballet ($20)

In this class you will prepare your body for ballet class by working to stretch and open your hips, back, and shoulders, while strengthening your core, turnout, upper back, and feet.

Through a combination of pilates and dance conditioning, your body will be ready for optimal ballet technique. You may bring a yoga mat if you are more comfortable working on a mat.

Class meets Tuesdays 5:30-6:30 starting November 7.

Adult tap with Tappy Feet ($10)

Here at Tappy Feet we believe tap dancing can make you a better person. In fact, we believe you can become the person you've always wanted to be by embracing your courage, your desire for play and creativity, and your imperfection. We won't make you into tap-dancing YouTube sensation, but we will give you a challenging, affordable, and fun hour to play and learn something new. 

Don't have tap shoes? No problem! Tap shoes available for use! 

Class meets Wednesdays 6-7

Adult Irish Cardio with Anderson-Dunn Academy ($15)

Whether you've Irish danced before or never even heard of it, the Anderson-Dunn Academy of Irish Dance's adult cardio class caters to all levels. Learn basic (and not so basic) Irish dance moves while burning calories and having fun!

Yoga with Ananda Sutra Yoga ($20)

Emily teaches anatomy based vinyasa yoga designed to strengthen and stretch your body, mind, and spirit. With an emphasis on traditional yoga practices, astrology, and the Mayan calendar, learn to align your chakras with the stars to achieve your goals and nourish your body. Her flow is strong, playful, joyful, and you will find yourself flowing and growing with her. Emily is a 200HR and 300HR yoga teacher certified with Yoga Alliance.
