Life often gets in the way of our passion for dance. Whether you have taken a brief hiatus or simply feel your technique has plateaued, the 14-Day Ballet Kickstart Challenge at Broche Ballet is designed to help adult dancers re-establish a consistent, meaningful practice. This structured two-week program provides a balanced curriculum that touches on every essential element of ballet, from core stability to artistic expression.
A Comprehensive Curriculum for Adult Dancers
Over the course of 14 days, you will engage with 26 curated videos totaling over nine hours of instruction. The program is strategically divided into two weekly blocks:
- Week 1: Foundations & Alignment: We begin by focusing on the mechanics of movement. You will explore non-planking core exercises to build the stability needed for relevé and balance. We also dive deep into two-handed barre work, emphasizing slow, meditative movements that allow you to feel every muscle engagement during passé and plié.
- Week 2: Artistry & Power: As your body becomes more attuned to the fundamentals, we shift focus toward specialized skills. This includes pre-pointe exercises for foot strength, upper back alignment for elegant port de bras, and hip-opening stretches to improve your functional turnout.
Beyond the Barre
This challenge is more than just a series of workouts; it is a holistic approach to ballet. You will explore deep-dive classes on port de bras positions and technique-heavy barre sessions focusing on fondu and tendu execution. To ensure your body stays supple and recovered, we include yoga-inspired seated stretch flows and hip-opening routines.
