About This Program
Master Your Splits with a Structured Ballet Approach
Achieving the splits as an adult can feel like a daunting task, but with the right methodology, it is entirely possible. The Broche Ballet 4-Month Splits Program is specifically curated for adult dancers who are new to flexibility training. Over the course of 16 weeks and 130 videos, you will follow a progressive curriculum designed to open your hips, lengthen your hamstrings, and support your lower back.
A Holistic Approach to Flexibility
This isn't just a simple stretching routine; it is a comprehensive conditioning system. We focus on the three key areas essential for a safe front split: the hamstrings, hip flexors, and lower back. By integrating traditional ballet movements like plié, tendu, and fondu with deep flexibility flows, you build the active range of motion required for beautiful lines and higher extensions in the center.
What to Expect Each Week
Each of the 16 modules provides four targeted videos, totaling nearly 50 hours of instruction. Your journey includes:
- Dynamic Warm-ups: Follow-along barre routines to prepare the joints and muscles for deeper work.
- Targeted Stretch Sessions: Deep dives into hip mobility, hamstring release, and even introductory middle splits work.
- Recovery & Myofascial Release: Using foam rollers and massage balls to address trigger points in the quads and glutes.
- Ballet Conditioning: Exercises designed to improve turnout and strength in positions like arabesque.
Designed for the Adult Body
At Broche Ballet, we understand that adult bodies require a different approach than younger students. This program emphasizes safety, consistency, and longevity. Whether you are working toward your very first split or looking to refine your grand jeté, this program provides the tools to reach your goals without injury. You will learn to use props like yoga blocks and pillows to meet your body where it is today while working toward the floor.
