About This Program
Elevate Your Artistry with a Structured 90-Day Curriculum
Transitioning from beginner basics to the fluid technique of Level 2 requires more than just occasional practice; it demands consistency, clarity, and a well-rounded approach. The 90 Days of Daily Practice program at Broche Ballet is designed specifically for adult dancers who are ready to move beyond the fundamentals and find their confidence in both barre and center work. Over the course of 13 weeks, this comprehensive program removes the guesswork from your training, providing a day-by-day roadmap to physical and technical transformation.
Comprehensive Training from Barre to Center
This program features over 120 videos totaling more than 45 hours of expert instruction. The curriculum is meticulously organized to ensure steady progression. You will begin by deepening your understanding of foundational details—such as the proper execution of a grand battement or the intricate movement of the toes in a coupé—before moving into more complex sequences.
Our Level 2 training emphasizes the "why" behind the movement. You won't just follow along; you will learn the mechanics of port de bras, the delicate balance between shoulders and elbows, and how to maintain perfect alignment in fourth position. As you progress through the weeks, you will tackle center combinations involving pas de bourrée, glissade, and reverence, all while building the stamina needed for longer classes.
Strength, Flexibility, and Pre-Pointe Preparation
Beyond technical steps, this 90-day journey focuses on the physical conditioning essential for ballet. Specialized sessions target flexibility in the hamstrings and upper back, while our unique "center barre" videos challenge your stability by removing the support of the barre entirely. For those looking toward the future, the program includes pre-pointe exercises to identify and correct a sickled foot, ensuring you develop the 5% "wing" shape necessary for safe and beautiful lines. By the end of these three months, you will not only be stronger and more coordinated but also more at home in your dancing body.
