Our Double Barre format is built for the dancer who already knows the steps and wants to focus on the physical execution, building the cardiovascular stamina and muscular endurance required for longer variations and center work.
The core of this lesson focuses on the "64 en croix" structure—a rigorous repetition of movements designed to build muscle memory and strength. Throughout the class, we dive deep into the mechanics of the grand battement. You will learn how to properly brush through the floor to create the necessary power for flinging the leg while maintaining a stable, supporting side.
