About This Video
Welcome to the latest schedule update from Broche Ballet! We are thrilled to announce a refined live Zoom class lineup designed to help you reach your technical and artistic goals from the comfort of your home studio. This season, we are focusing on providing more opportunities for dancers to dive deep into specific techniques, including the nuances of port de bras and the strength required for consistent pointe work.
Our new schedule is crafted to accommodate both daytime and evening dancers, ensuring everyone in the Broche Ballet community can participate in our interactive sessions. Highlights of the new schedule include our specialized seated pre-pointe technique classes held on Mondays and Wednesdays. These sessions are essential for building the foundational foot and ankle strength needed for dancing en pointe, utilizing tools like a TheraBand or Pilates ball for targeted resistance.
We have also introduced a dedicated Tuesday evening pointe class for those already dancing in pointe shoes, providing a perfect opportunity for evening dancers to refine their relevés and stability. Artistry remains a core pillar of the Broche Ballet experience. To better serve our students, the artistry barre class has moved to Monday evenings, allowing for a focused start to your training week.
Following this shift, we have added a dedicated port de bras session on Friday evenings to help you master upper body fluidity and coordination. Thursdays will continue to feature our high-intensity power barre and advanced barre rotations, alternating with our popular deep-dive follow-along barre sessions. For those looking to take flight, join us for special Sunday workshops in March specifically focused on jump mechanics and power.
Whether you are working on your first pliés and tendus or mastering complex center combinations, our live Zoom classes provide the real-time feedback and community support you need to thrive. We invite you to explore the new calendar and share your feedback as we continue to grow together.
