Throughout the class, we move rapidly through the standard ballet syllabus. You will begin with warming pliés, focusing on keeping the knees aligned over the toes and weight evenly distributed. As the tempo picks up through tendus and dégagés, the emphasis shifts to core stability and sharp footwork.
By reducing the time between exercises, you are forced to rely on muscle memory and quick thinking, which significantly improves your overall coordination and stamina. Mid-barre, we transition into more power-focused movements. You will work on the melting quality of a fondu and the controlled extension of a développé, all while maintaining a long spine and proper head placement.
