Welcome to Broche Ballet's high-octane Super Sweaty Speed Barre. This 36-minute intensive class is designed for dancers who want to push their limits, improve their stamina, and focus intensely on hip strength and mobility. Following our philosophy of less instruction and more dancing, this Speed Barre session allows you to stay in the flow and maintain an elevated heart rate throughout the entire practice.
The workout begins with a dynamic warm-up to prepare your muscles, quickly transitioning into complex sequences at the barre. You will engage in a series of targeted exercises, including plié, fondu, and frappé, each designed to challenge your precision and control at a brisk tempo. A major focus of this session is the mastery of the hips.
Through grand battement and enveloppé, you will learn to maintain proper alignment—keeping the knee back and the heel forward—even as the speed increases.
